1. About My Fitness Studeo

My Fitness Studeo ("we", "us", "the platform") is a marketplace connecting independent pilates and fitness instructors ("Instructors") with studio owners ("Studios") who wish to rent their space by the hour. We are not a party to any rental agreement between Instructors and Studios.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. Instructors must hold valid certifications and liability insurance as required by Studios. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Instructor Accounts

Instructor accounts are subject to approval. You must upload valid certification and liability insurance documents before booking a studio. My Fitness Studeo reserves the right to revoke access if documents are found to be invalid or expired.

4. Studio Listings

Studios are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including availability, pricing, equipment, and access instructions. Studios set their own cancellation and no-show policies, which are displayed to Instructors before booking.

5. Bookings and Payments

Bookings made through the platform constitute an agreement between the Instructor and Studio. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. My Fitness Studeo charges a 6% platform fee (3% from each party) on completed transactions. During the beta period, no payments are charged.

6. Cancellations and No-Shows

Each Studio sets its own cancellation policy. Credits issued under a Studio's policy are valid only at that Studio and subject to any expiry terms set by the Studio. My Fitness Studeo is not responsible for disputes between Instructors and Studios regarding cancellations.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the platform to circumvent fees by arranging bookings outside the platform, misrepresent your credentials, harass other users, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

My Fitness Studeo is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage occurring at a Studio. Instructors and Studios are responsible for maintaining their own insurance. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, role (instructor or studio), certification and insurance documents, photos, and booking history. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the platform — matching instructors with studios, processing bookings, sending notifications, and verifying credentials. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Information Shared with Other Users

Your name, certifications, and profile photo are visible to studio owners when you request a booking. Your certification and insurance documents are visible to studio owners and platform admins only. Studio owners' contact information is shared with instructors upon confirmed booking.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security enabled. Documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage buckets. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

5. Payment Information

We do not store payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We store only transaction records and amounts.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local session storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@myfitnessstudeo.com. Account deletion will remove your profile and booking history from our active systems.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
